When people think about driving to Monaco, they still might have the prejudice that parking in Monte-Carlo would cost more than anywhere else in the world. But the opposite is the case, at least when we talk about the evening rates. With all its casinos, restaurants and bars, Monaco is really depending on tourists joining these attractions as Monaco itself only has less than 40 thousand inhabitants.
That´s why parking in Monaco is very attractive for evening excursions. In almost all car parks (even in Place du Casino!) you pay only 60 cents per hour from 7 pm till 8 am in the morning. And the maximum charge is 20 Euro for 24 hours.
Free parking in Monaco? Yes, it´s possible!
But there is also a chance to get a free parking place. But therefore you have to be good on your feet, as this parking opportunity is 2km away from Monte-Carlo, the heart of Monaco, directly behind the border on the french side of Avenue Princesse Grace. If you are willing to walk a bit, there is no cheaper way to enter Monaco by car. But beware, during the day, it is very hard to find a parking as every insider knows about this place.
